I love Spring-Book Tag

Hi guys,

So I’m back, exams are finally over (woo!!) and I can relax and come back to my blog! Throughout the internet I have seen this particular book tag hanging around so I thought I would answer the questions!

1) How is Spring where you live?

In the UK, Spring is usually showers and clouds but this Spring its really sunny and it was apparently the hottest day so far this year yesterday!! I hope it stays as hot as this for Summer.

2) Most anticipated book release this Spring?

I’m really excited for City of Fallen Angels to come out! Also, We are the Golden Ones by Dana Reinhardt! They are obviously being released this Spring and I’m so excited to get my hands on them as soon as possible!

3) Show us a book cover that makes you think of Spring.

This one was quite hard, but I am probably going to pick Alienated by Melissa Landers. This is currently on my list ‘to read’ but it still reminded me of spring due to the flowers in the field.

4) Where are you going to read this Spring?

I am planning on reading in my garden (if the weather keeps the same). Otherwise I will mainly read before I go to bed or on the train.
5) Find a cover with the sun on it!

For this one I chose The sky is everywhere by Jandy Nelson and if you look on the right of the heart at the top you can see a small sun, well I think it is a sun anyway.

6) What are your favorite Spring reads?

I prefer to read more happy reads in Spring because the sun is shining and it puts me in a good mood! The genre I love especially is Romance!

7) Find a book with many different colors on it.

The U.S version of Will Grayson Will Grayson is really colorful and catches the light so I think it definitely fits into this category!

8) Whom do you tag?

I firstly tag Alise and the readersinwonderland blog (which I love…go check them out) and of course all of you reading this. If you do decide to complete this tag on your blogs, then please link them below and I will go and check them out for sure! 🙂

Thanks so much for reading and I hoped you enjoyed this blog post! For more posts like this please follow and also please like and comment!

Book Haul

Hey guys! As I said in my last post I have been busy revising for exams and stuff 😦 so I haven’t had much time to post anything. In a week everything should be back to normal :). I did manage however to buy some books so here’s what I bought and a bit of information about the books! Enjoy!

The first book I purchased was Crescendo by Becca Fitzpatrick! This is the sequel to Hush, Hush which I loved. I didn’t actually realize this had come about (How Amelia, How??) but I was pleasantly surprised!

Title: Crescendo
Author: Becca Fitzpatrick
Publisher: Simon and Schuster

Nora Grey’s life is still far from perfect. Surviving an attempt on her life wasn’t pleasant, but at least she got a guardian angel out of it: a mysterious, magnetic, gorgeous guardian angel. But, despite his role in life, Patch has been acting anything but angelic. He’s more elusive than ever and, even worse, he’s started spending time with Nora’s arch-enemy, Marcie Millar. Nora would have hardly noticed Scott Parnell, an old family friend who has moved back to town, if Patch hadn’t been acting so distant. Even with Scott’s totally infuriating attitude Nora finds herself drawn to him – despite her lingering feeling that he’s hiding something. Nora puts herself in increasingly dangerous situations as she searches for answers. But maybe some things are better left buried, because the truth could destroy everything – and everyone – she trusts.

Title: City of bones
Author: Cassandra Clare
Pages: 506
Publisher: Walker Books
Clary Fray is seeing things: vampires in Brooklyn and werewolves in Manhattan. Irresistibly drawn to the Shadowhunters, a secret group of warriors dedicated to ridding the earth of demons, Clary encounters the dark side of New York City – and the dangers of forbidden love.

I read this quite a long time ago and picked it up from the library but I thought I would actually buy the book and add it to my collection!! I am looking forward to reading it again and carry on reading the series.

Title: Fangirl
Author: Rainbow Rowell
Pages: 457
Publisher: Macmillan
Cath and Wren are identical twins and until recently they did absolutely everything together. Now they’re off to university and Wren’s decided she doesn’t want to be one half of a pair anymore – she wants to dance, meet boys, go to parties and let loose. Its not easy for Cath. She would rather bury herself in fanfiction she writes where there’s romance far more intense than anything she’s experienced in real life.
Now Cath has to decide whether she’s ready to open her heart to new people and new experiences, and she’s realizing that there’s more to learn about love than she ever thought possible . . .

Title: Will Grayson Will Grayson

Author(s): John Green and David Leuithan

Pages: 308

Publisher: Puffin Books

One cold night, in a most unlikely corner of Chicago, two teens—both named Will Grayson—are about to cross paths. As their worlds collide and intertwine, the Will Graysons find their lives going in new and unexpected directions, building toward romantic turns-of-heart and the epic production of history’s most fabulous high school musical.

I loved TFIOS so when I saw a line of John Green books I grabbed this one first! It looks a great plot and I can’t wait to read it!

Title: Just Listen

Author: Sarah Dessen

Pages: 390

Publisher: Puffin books

I’m Annabel. I’m the girl who has it all. Model looks, confidence. A great social life. I’m one of the lucky ones. Aren’t I?

My ‘best friend’ is spreading rumours about me. My family is slowly falling apart. It’s turning into a long, lonely summer, full of secrets and silence. But I’ve met this guy who won’t let me hide away. He’s one of those intense types, obsessed with music. He’s determined to make me listen. And he’s determined to make me smile. But can he help me forget what happened the night everything changed?

I have read and watched so many blog posts and you tube videos about Sarah Dessen’s books so I thought that I would try one out. ‘Just Listen’ was the first to catch my eye!

This is a ‘film book’ and it describes everything to the factions in Divergent to the characters! I am a massive fan of Divergent so I was so excited to see this in the bookshop!!

Thank you for reading!! I hope you enjoyed this post and follow to see more of my posts and like and comment! I’m really excited to read all of these books and I will review some of them soon…

Have you read any of these books?
